AASE is a broad-based non-categorical association concerned with all who have special education needs.
AASE is represented by State Chapters in each state and territory across Australia and is managed by the National Council comprising of representatives of each state and territory.
AASE organises a very successful and informative National Conference each year. In 2017 the AASE National Conference was held in Darwin, Northern Territory with 385 delegates in attendance. The 2018 AASE National Conference will be held in Cairns, Queensland.
