AASE SA Chapter Innovative Grant is now open offering 2 grants to the value of $2,000.00 and a one-year AASE site membership to the value of $340:00.  There is an expectation to present the effectiveness of the project at the AASE SA annual general meeting in November 2026.

The AASE SA Innovative grant is explicitly designed to build:

  • Staff capacity.
  • Links to sustainable inclusive programs.
  • Inclusive participation for all learners.

Grant process

  • Submit your full application before the closing date 30th March 2026. No extensions will be provided.
  • Complete the application form in full.
  • Respond to the criteria detailed in the application form.
  • Attach additional supporting documentation, as required.
  • AASE SA Grant panel to review all received emailed
  • Applicants and site leaders will be notified by email of the final outcome.
  • The successful site will be credited the Grant and membership amount.

Conditions for Innovative grant

  • The grant is available to South Australian State, Independent and Catholic sites, Early Learning Centres, Childcare Centres and Pre-Schools.
  • The applicant must be an educational professional working in the field of disability and inclusive education.
  • The grant must be spent on innovative initiatives that would not have otherwise been provided in the absence of the grant.
  • The grant may be used for the purpose of resources or personnel that would not be available through regular site or system financial resourcing.
  • All application submissions will be processed by executive members of the Australian Association of Special Education South Australian Chapter and a representative from the Tertiary Education Sector.
  • The successful site will receive a one-off $2,000.00 grant and a one-year site AASE membership to the value of $340.00.
